PACKING TIPS FOR AN EASIER MOVE AND SAFER STORAGE

Appliances
Thoroughly clean and dry appliances. Keep freezer and refigerator doors slightly ajar.

Books & Documents
Pack books flat to protect their spines. Don't place boxes directly on floor. Use pallets or skids.

Dishes & Glassware
Cushion carton tops and bottoms with a layer of unprinted paper or bubble pack. Glass items should be wrapped individually.

Holiday Decorations
Re-use the original cartons for delicate ornaments. Pad with packing paper.

Mattresses & Box Springs
Store on long edges for firmer support. Keep elevated from floor and covered for protection.

Mirrors
Store in mirror cartons or place on edge, not flat.

Furniture
To save space, beds and tables can be disassembled. Do not lean furniture against outer walls. Wrap legs for protection. Cover wood and upholstered pieces (not with plastic).
